If you missed November’s meeting, you missed an informative and entertaining night. We invited Don Dennis, a landscape photographer to speak to our group about what helps to make a great landscape photograph. Personally, as a portrait and wedding photographer, I wasn’t sure at first if I’d get anything out of the program. But it turned out quite the opposite. Don gave us great tips and a well planned presentation on how we could improve not only our landscapes, but other types of photography as well.
Sometimes we can learn all of the rules, but when we go to shoot, we don’t think about them. This was a great reminder to me on some of the things I tend to forget.
Lesson learned, sometimes you might skip one of our meetings because you don’t think it pertains to your field. Don’t! You never know what you might pick up. There’s always something to learn!
