July 2013 GRPP President’s Newsletter

I have to apologize for the lateness of this newsletter. I always target the first couple of days of each month, and fell way behind this month.
I have been dealing with an unprecedented amount of work at the studio, and am suffering some growing pains as I expand operations.

This Month’s’ Meeting Topic

In place of our normally scheduled meetings at Lumiere Photo, every July we join with the other chapters of PPSNYS and offer a program in conjunction with the PPSNYS Workshop, which takes place on the Hobart College campus in Geneva.
This free PPSNYS program will be held on Sunday, July 21st at 8pm.

Jim Chagares, a nationally known wildlife and landscape photographer, is giving the Sunday evening program.  Here is the description:

Follow Where It Leads
Is there a dream in your heart that you are having trouble following?  Do you feel life is just too busy or complicated for you to reach for it?
Has the photography business taken the fun out of photography?
Jim’s program is just what you need to put the fun back in your life.

The program is held in Scandling Campus Center on the Hobart Campus.

There is parking on campus on Pulteney Street, right across the street from the Scandling Student Center.
The program is located in a large instruction hall on the 2nd floor of Scandling.

Next Month

We will be having our annual picnic, which will be held on our regular meeting night, August 14th.
