We are heading into the home stretch of 2012 with a good head of steam. We just had our second big seminar of the year last Sunday, and what a Sunday it was! Fuzzy and Shirley Duenkel brought their “Go Home Live” show to Rochester, and they did not disappoint any of the capacity crowd of 50+ photographers that were present. Fuzzy photographs HS seniors at their homes all over Wisconsin, and he amazed those in attendance with the photos that were taken in bedrooms, attics, backyards, basements and dirty 2-car garages….making them look like expensive Hollywood movie sets. The greatest thing is, is that this skill can be transferable to any person you are photographing on location, whether they are HS seniors, children, or brides. So it doesn’t matter who you photograph…if you didn’t get some great tips out of this seminar, you may have been in a coma.
The biggest complaint: “One day is nowhere near enough time to listen to Fuzzy speak!”
This Month’s Meeting:
Networking & A Little Bit of Light
We are not going to have a single speaker for our November meeting….we will all be speaking! At every meeting we enjoy talking during the social hour and get very involved in many discussions around the room. Many times we hate having to stop the discussions to start the meeting, so this night, we get to continue our conversations all meeting long. This would be a very relaxed meeting to have the opportunity to continue the networking.
Pat Luke….yes, that’s me… will also be doing lighting demonstrations in the meeting room to discuss different lighting techniques and patterns. This will not be a formal presentation, but an opportunity to discuss different types of lighting and how to set them up.
