Dear GRPP Members,
As you know, during our monthly meetings we have a time set up for you to bring in your image prints to be critiqued by members of the
group as a member benefit. We will continue to do this for any member that brings prints to the meeting.
What we’d like to do is extend that critique to a digital area where we can all give input to the image during non-meeting times. This is just another avenue to have your images viewed by your peers and receive feedback. GRPP is about learning and growing as professionals. It will continue to be a member’s only benefit.
With that in mind we’d like to tell you about a new feature on the GRPP website. In the Links dropdown you’ll find a new link to “GRPP-Critique on Flickr” which will take you to an invitation only Group on Flickr. All current GRPP members will be receiving an invitation to join this group. If you don’t already have a Flickr ID, go ahead and get one, it’s free! Once you join the GRPP-Critique Group on Flickr, you can start uploading images to your Flickr profile and then add them to the Group Pool. Other members will be notified that an image was added to the group pool and can start giving feedback.
Everyone in the group is welcome to give a critique of the images uploaded to the group. Here is a helpful website to understand How to Critique a Photo.
Right now our membership dues are only $85 for limited time if you’ve never been a member of GRPP. It would be a great time to join and take advantage of this new feature.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Terri Parthum-GRPP Membership Chairperson.
