Wine Tasting on Keuka Lake

What an amazing Fall day for a Finger Lakes Wine Tour of Keuka Lake! Wow, we couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better group! I want to thank Sue Egan, our Programs Chairperson, for setting up all of the logistics for this event. Everyone had so much fun running around working on the photo scavenger hunt and participating in the wine tastings…. so much so, that the bus driver kept having to drag us back onto the bus and onward to the next winery!

We had some very special guests participate in this event…. PPSNYS members Tim & Dana Shaffer, from the Albany group, and Tammy Wolfe from PA! Who knew that last year when we had the Tam Tam Tour give a 2 day workshop here that we would be such great friends with Tammy?? This is what makes our jobs as Photographers so fulfilling…. all the wonderful people we would never know otherwise!

There will be MANY more images from this event… everyone was running around, checking off their scavenger hunt list and getting super creative! I can’t wait to see all of the amazing images. All I know was that we were constantly laughing!

For those of you on the tour, please edit your images and save as JPGs. Make a folder for full resolution images and another folder that is low-resolution with your watermark for the web. Please also indicate which winery the images were from, as we will be providing images to them as a Thank You for having us. I will collect all of the discs at our November meeting, or you can get them to me anytime prior to that date.

The winning images will be awarded at the GRPP ‘End of Year’ Party in December! If you lost your scavenger hunt list, it is attached here:

The Greater Rochester Professional Photographers took a Wine Tour through the Finger Lakes in October for a photographic scavenger hunt at 4 local wineries on Keuka Lake…. Heron Hill Winery, Dr. Konstantin Frank, Hunt Country Vineyards and Stever Hill Vineyards.
